There is no way.I must be drugged Brad. Amazing with agate fill down the nerve canal. You know that bad boy would run you down using that giant cheetah tail for balance. Are you in the back of a museum?

Awesome piece. That's amazing that the spinal column filled in like that. And James, I'm sure your drugged, regardless of what you're seeing

wtf?
Super Raptor - dun-duh-nana - Super raptor, speed that kills, fierce teeth to subdue it's prey and nerves of agate! - dun-duh-nana
I once threw 6 ringers in a row in a spirited game of horseshoes. Partner and I took the tournament and the (rather nice) trophy. I never played again. Why? I can never do that again. I left in a blaze of glory! lol
dude, you should simply quit. How can you do better?
edited to add - is the entire tail full of agate? Just having the tail is awesome.

shotgunner, I dont think the entire tail was agatized. I actually got it from Jeffrey Hill. NA Jeffrey Hill on eBay. He posted a pic of it on his facebook page. The vert was cracked in half and he contoured it and polished it himself. If it hits his facebook page, he offers it for sale. Then he lists it on Ebay if nobody snatches it up quick after posting on facebook. He has a bunch of facebook followers. Hes is friends with the guy who has whats left of the tail. There are a few more pics on Jeffs facebook page of the tail. He bought the ones he thought were agatized. The vert I have was obvious so he bought it. The guy was asking $4000 for the whole tail(yeee!) and ended up parting it out. Would of been neat to get the whole tail. The one vert I got is the very end of the tail. He has another vert from the same tail on eBay. Its a cool pink one. I like mine a little more but the pink is killer looking. You might never see another pink on eBay for a while. It cost to much for me. I was lucky to get the vert I have quite a bit less. www.ebay.com/itm/NA-FORTIFICATION-VERTEBRAE-DINOSAUR-GEMBONE-Pair-1-Pound-/161042866515?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item257ee72153#ht_3432wt_1153I was fortunate to get it because there were two big spenders and I know them personally. They asked about it before I did. One of them would of cut it up for shure. I only have a few dino bones from others, like Jeff. I have been loyal to my main dino friend and in return he gives me great prices and has set me up with a collection that would of taken me 10 years to get and the cost would of been way way more. The bone he sends my way you just dont see. He has a huge collection, collecting from the 50's and bought a lot from Ernie Shirley and Lamont Ekkers, the two kings of gembone back when they were alive. fossilman, I totally agree on this being the coolest. Its a small one and Ive never come across a red and white swirl vert. Its one of my favorites for shure but I do have others that I havent posted on here that are stunning. This one is in my fav five for shure.

Yeah I agree. Sounds like the guy needed money. Shame it couldnt of stayed together. Dont see stuff like that very often. F Forgot to mention another thing that is cool about the vert is that the spinal chord is still there on one of the halfs and agatized. They are usually always missing and usually are fossilized and not agatized. The pink vert on eBay you can notice on the bottom of them. Thats where the spinal chord would of been but they are missing.
