It was over thirty not too long ago..but I only buy enough for a few jewelry projects at a time I dont think it will get much lower, although someone said it is headed to $5/oz territory, I doubt that. Charlie

I doubt that $5 too. I think $16-$17 would be a more reasonable turn around, but who knows how long it will stay stuck there for as dead money. Worth watching means not worth buying yet:).

I think the same 15 - 17.The tax free gift from her estate is the purchase. Leave it in for 10 years is goal.

If you liked it at $27, you'll love it at $16. Cost averaging down works if you really believe there's an upside. I am not nuts about gold and silver as a hedge against the market AT ALL... BUT, it's a great thing to buy if say you use it in jewelry work and must buy it anyway. Buy low = more profit, and in this case, if it crashes, you can take a molding class and make bullion to bury where X marks the spot!!

I quadrupled 3 land investments during boom over a 4 year period. Now I am spoiled. I wish the fun economy would come back. They are putting in new houses. Prime intown locations. Using Obama money. For low income mostly not working folks. I do not understand why they get a property worth $300,000 and do not do anything but qualify for my tax money. Where does this administration get it's brains from. I am mentally disturbed about this travesty. I need nerve pills.

Is it Habitat for Humanity building those houses? Because that's a private organization that is founded by Jimmy Carter, houses designed by Brad Pitt, paid for by people like Angelina Jolie, and only for poor people. Nothing to do with the Gov't, these are purely donations from people who have money and want to help. Nor are they $300,000 houses... they build THOSE for TV shows paid by the studios.

It's fun to blame everything on your hero. I think he is slipping them money under the table.
Brad Pitt, your kidding aren't you.

No, Brad Pitt is a closet architect/construction guy. But since no one will pay him to build/design houses, he can always force the poor to take one since they are free:). LOL! Here's a pix of some of the houses he forced on the poor in New Orleans: travel.nytimes.com/2009/11/29/travel/29cultured.html?_r=0Hrm.. if you read the article, even the poor don't want em...

Brad Pitt's houses are, and this is my favorite oxymoron, pretty ugly.
