Randy, your lines and bends always are so clean....do you sketch your wrap on paper before you start?....

Have to agree with you on that one, but kudos for the wrap. She would have done better if she would have asked to cut it into half (or at least the rough on top) and then have a bezel cap on top.

cccbock- I never draw anything before starting, I just spend a day or two thinking about it and hope for the best. lol kk- the rough part of the top is actually 2 smaller crystals, she wanted to keep those and put them in the front to show them off. I'm still more into the conventional wire wraps.

It's a nice piece, Randy, and you did a great job with it! Count your blessings that it wasn't a bracelet to wrap a chunk of acrylic!!! LOL! Cathy

I actually like it. I can't remember another crystal wrap that I really liked, but yours works.

I'm with Susan. I don't care much for crystal wraps, but yours really turned out great. Very nice!

Thanks! Points were never really my style either, I got lucky with the wrap. She'll get this one tomorrow night, just wondering what she'll have me wrapping this time. lol

Randy, did you have to cut on it at all? That's one of the best wraps I've ever seen on a point and didn't cover it up.

Cool Randy! We have crystal point wraps in the shop I work at but they usually have wire wrapped around the face of the stone like a spiral. Your wrap is clean and PERFECT as always!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks y'all! Steve- I didn't do any cutting on it, but it kinda looks to me like it's been cut on before.

The lady loved it, and the mask pendant so it a done deal. She paid me and sent me home with another stone to wrap. Hell yeah

I've been wrapping about 7 years I think, but it didn't take that long to get confident at it. Just gotta remember that it's a wire and a rock, nothing to be scared of... everything you need can be purchased for less than $50. Go for it! Wire can be purchased at Brandywine.com and tools can be purchased at monsterslayer.com. Tools and wire sizes are in the tutorial
