I was looking to make my brother a gift for his birthday. He is a car guy from way back. His first car was a 65 Ford Mustang. hhmmmm Enter Fordite ! I got some Fordite from Ebay and also a Mustang key blank. I made a Fordite cab glued it on the key and made a bail for it. Turned out pretty well I think. On the back side of the key is an embossed Mustang horse. I am also posting a pic of a Lapis wrap I did at the same time. Lapis Wrap

The key is a cool idea, definitely thinking "outside the box". I like how you wrapped the lapis too, great job on both

Love the fordite wrap. That is really creative! The Lapis is pretty, too!

I especially like the idea of using two different metals together.

What a great idea! That key turned out great--and the sodalite is quite nice as well. Very creative, and beautiful as well.
