Back before we knew better, my wife and I attempted to tumble a small amount of what we thought was a beautiful tube agate. It turned to mud in the tumbler in very short order.
After some research we found out it was flowering tube onyx (no surprise that it turned to mud) and my wife has been kicking herself ever since. She'd love to take another crack at it (cabbing this time, she can handle soft stuff quite well), but we haven't been able to find rough that isn't 7+ pounds and astronomically priced.
Anyone have any leads on some rough/slabs of this material?

I plan to slice this piece this summer, but no telling when I will. I can give a shout when I have some cut.
