Took a look inside my barrels after about 28 hours of tumbling. My water now looks like chocolate milk. I felt a few stones but I could hardly believe it. Are they supposed to feel almost half done or more after such a short time tumbling?

I am with Rockyracoon, if you are tumbling soft stone then it will round a lot quicker, in my last batch I had sweet water agate, bloodstone, and epidote, the epidote rounded out alot quicker than the other two stones.

I put some small quartz pieces into to my pre polish to bulk it up (found out that wasn't a good idea) and in just 2 days they had changed dramaticly. Now that youv'e put your hands on them, it will be hard to leave them alone. One (if only) thing Iv'e learned: Patience!
