She found this red arrowhead just to the right of the house in the little puppy pen. The puppies defoliate it like hogs and exposed this heat treated coastal plain chert arrowhead. Material from Warner Robins area 110 miles south of Atlanta. Find a bucket full around the house over the years. She is rubbing it in real bad. on my nerves already

There is 3 creeks coming together on this property. Four small camps. Found a lot of stuff. I plow the field behind the house for friends/kids to find them.

We used to go all the time Snuffy. We would get into serious battles when one finds 'a moundahead'-calling the other one over to inspect the treasure found sitting up on that pedestal of dirt. We had fun.

I've often wondered how many artifacts are laying around or buried in the US.Would probably stagger the imagination if they were all piled in one pile!

If they made one arrowhead for each time Scott drank 10 beers the pile of arrowheads would be Mt McKinley.
It is a big thought Snuffy that I wish I could answer.

Mr James ! My wife has an uncanny way about her in that she can find rocks so easy. She is always the first to find something and usually the best specimen. Gets to me sometimes ! Course, I did meet her in geology 101 as West Georgia College. We will be married 40 years this December 8th. I always tell folks "She showed me her rock pile and I showed her mine and we have always been together since" !
