These are pretty big stones at 10x7mm. They are soooooo pretty with silver. I might have to keep these.

I'm not sure I understand how you're doing these. is the wire half round that you're bezeling over the edge of the stone? or are these groove wrapped with round wire? Very pretty.

Beautiful work!! Don- Tela doesn't share too many secrets, and understandably so. She makes a good portion of her living selling tutorials on how to do this stuff. Tutorials are a great investment for those who are serious about this kinda stuff and her work is the best

Thanks everyone!
I may do a tute for this, but not before I feel I can speak to my own style and technique with more authority. I used to do these gem wraps many years ago and moved on to other things. I have just come back to them with a fresh approach. Right now, I am just trying out a few things. Rest assured these are very secure.
My biggest concern about telling my "secret" is that I am not the only one doing this. There is someone else on this board who does something similar and I know that he wouldn't care for me to discuss it. Once, I feel like I have a decidedly distinct look and technique, then I will say something. I'm not into stepping on people's toes. I hope that made sense. I'm not trying to be obtuse, just respectful.

To be fair, I looked for a tutorial on her website before asking. I've also searched JewelryLessons.com and didn't find anything there either.
A link to the appropriate tutorial would be sufficient for inquiring minds.
Regardless, I think I've figured out how this wrap works by looking at the pictures. There are only so many ways in which a non-drilled stone can be secured in a setting.
