WHOA!!!!!!!! Got a package from KK (Kurt) today. He told me he was sending a carving but HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!!!!!!! There was 3 in the package! I have no words, I am completely awe-struck! I knew Kurt was amazing but to see his work in hand..... I almost want to faint! The detail is amazing. What blows my mind most is seeing his pictures, I always thought his carvings were bigger. They are are pendant size. SHEESH!!!!!!!! How in the heck does he carve so intricately so small? ?? I'm in heaven tonight...... Kurt, these are treasures that will stay in my family forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are more than welcome Krystee. I send 3, so you got one for each of the girls in your house, and also to give you an idea as to how much practical effect all that input coming from the forums has on resulting pieces. The key is from the first year of carving, the feathers (Indonesian Coral) falls into the second year, and the seahorse is current. Plus, last but not least, to at show you how much I value the material you send me earlier. As I learned virtually everything about working with stones by practice under the guidance of so many wonderful members on the forums; none of it would have been realized, where it not for the forums. So thank all of you for making it possible in the first place. Roy: You will like my next few projects, I'm knee-deep into 4 FA's since about ten days and should be ready to present "Zigeunerin" before the week is out (before disappearing into China for two weeks). I know, there might be only very few people here who recognize the title (its a Slavic word that came to mind while working the piece), so you will need to wait till its done.

Thank you everyone. But let it be noted that Krystee is the one who is the generous one. She regularly gives her time to help, and I hear dispatches material (including some recently to me, with absolutely fantastic material)all round, on regular basis.
