I have some Crayola jasper that I've been cutting from time to time and wanted to show the range of diversity in this stone. This first one is consistant green color and already have the design for this one drawn up. Green on green with gold accent Next is a blue with some red in it. I don't know why but the blue color only takes a so so shine even though it is hard as nails. ?? And this one, I was floored when the slab fell. I guess this would be the ultimate deffinition of Crayola. There are other color variations but the three are the predominate colors

I was just thinking what could be painted on it to invoke a landscape. something to confirm the blue as "lake"
anyway, I think this one is better uncut.

I'll have to see if my wife will paint something along those lines. I had not thought of that, Thanks for the ideas

I love crayola jasper. You got some great slabs there. Daniel- I like your mock up. I'm afraid I would have to cut it, though.

Being born and raised in Az, I guess I'm use to it. It is the humidity that takes its toll on me. Just can't seem to acclumate to that stuff.

That is some good detail in the painting for how small the images are. Looks good.
