I picked up the rough from a little antique store in south western Washington. The owners had a small house in a mining town in Nevada that their son lives in, when ever they would visit him, they would bring rocks back to their store and I loved the color of this rock. I only payed a $1 for it, I love the cut rock better, the soft pink variegated with soft yellow flecks.

I like it I like the bigger picture, too. A little bigger would be even better, but this one is much better than the first one. I like the balance in this piece.

It truly is a very nice piece. IMHO, I think that it would show much better with a little more contrasting texture and color for your photo background. Give it a try and see if you like it better that way too.

Lovely wrap and beautiful stone!!! Darker background would serve the stone better though! Excellent piece!!! Love it!!!
