I've used my little rotary tumbler with steel shot to clean my wraps, but my little rotary motor finally burned out after 50 years, and since I'm also interested in trying tumbling, I was thinking of getting a Lot-O vibration tumbler. Has anyone cleaned/hardened their wraps in a Lot-O? Any tips on using it for finished jewelry?

Hiya I have never tried it, but I have read that it isn't a good idea. I don't remember where I read this or I would post a link. You could always try it on a "waste" piece. I'm thinking you'll need two tumblers. But, that's how tools go.... you never have enough. I just bought a flat lap, now I'll have 2 cabbers.
