I have been quiet lately! Closed my shops for the month and I've been playing with wire, cabbing and waiting for my new Ameritool flatlap to come in. I'm hoping to try my hand at intarsias and doublets soon. This isn't a cab, but I thought I would share it anyway. I used to do a lot of cameos and got bored with it. I have a large collection of cameos. This is big vintage, hi quality, 30x40 sardonyx shell with 8mm citrine. Thanks for looking- I'll have more when I'm finished playing around and trying to come up with something new.

That is really nice.
Remember though that when working with shells wear a good respirator. The shells can have various toxic compounds picked up from the water.

This is a really nice piece Tela. Are they hard to wrap? When will your site be back up? I go there often for inspiration.... Deb

LOL! I WISH I could carve cameos! No, this is an Italian cameo. But, thanks for imagining that I could.

Deb, no, I don't think they are hard to wrap. I lost count of how many I have done.

Now, if you tell me this one isn't groove wrapped, I'll shatter all my groove wraps! Oh, I almost forgot to say it's SUPERB! Adrian
