I fried the old motor on my highland park 12"/14"/16" saw, and was gifted this motor to replace it. My question is how do you wire a motor like this with low and high voltage. I want to wire it for standard 110 (Low Voltage). My guess is that you (1)twist the black, white, yellow wires together and attach it to the the hot lead (Black wire), and (2)twist the brown, orange, and red together and put a wire nut on it, (3) Purple wire would be collected to the common (white wire), (4)green would be the ground. Any help or confirmation on whether or not this is correct would be appreciated Thanks, Robert

You got it. If the motor is new it will be prewired in the high voltage mode. If wrong rotation follow the directions at bottom of the label.
