Maybe this is a dumb question, but after reading the DP manual to figure out how to do this, it only mentioned it in passing and said "The 80 and 220 grit wheels will be interchanged when you reverse the direction of the two wheels." Why not the other wheels?
Can someone explain to me how to reverse the wheels? I haven't actually tried, and have never taken my wheels off.

Take the adapter with wheels off of your machine. Remove the nut and remove the wheels. Turn the 80 & 220 hard wheels around and put them back on the arbor. Re tighten the nut and put the adapter back on your machine.

Thanks So, are the galaxy wheels the only ones I should reverse then? I'm confused on that point.

Yes. Only the hard wheels. The wheels with rubber padding may be damaged if you reverse them.

I'm not saying the soft wheels will be damaged, but they may be. It depends a lot on how the rubber backing was applied to the hub.
