First things first - I'm sorry Randy lol. This wrap is not your fault This is my first wrap attempt. It IS crooked. I over flattened the secondary wraps going un the sides and could not re-position them. That made the stone sit off center a bit. Rather than scrap it at that point I decided to go ahead and finish it out. The bail was tricky for me and is also off center a bit. I am sure I can get it straighter than it is currently, and if it was a keeper, I would. I think that bail would have gone a little smoother if I had made the 180 bend better. I had missed a step when I made the bend, then tried to unbend the wire and bend it back. That did not work out so well lol. Making the individual curls in the wire was also trickier than I thought they would be. Randy makes amazing ones. I do not lol. To her credit; my wife made all the appropriate sounds of appreciation of my phenominal skill with wire..then asked if I wanted her to tape it to the refrigerator next to some of our son's artwork. Critics! Anyway - here is my first "masterpiece". I had a great time making it. Randy's tutorial was an amazing help and very simple to follow. I am looking forward to starting the next one. Roger

not bad at all. I agree, hang it on the fridge with all the other artwork. What gauge/style/brand of wires did you use?

Great first effort! It only gets easier the more you do. Do keep this one, on the fridge even, you can look back on it and see how far you've come.

We sometimes are our own worst critics, cut yourself some slack. You did a great job especially for a first attempt. You took the first step in following Randy's excellent tutorial and you learned a few things to apply to your next one. Keep at it.

That's an excellent start! Now that you already have the steps down, practice and refine them a little. Great job
