hi everyone, These are the first wire wraps I have done with any amount of "being serious". The first 2 my wife and I did at a class we took. The second 2 I grooved with the gryphon and used Adrian's tutorial on groove wrapping, great tute but I sure need practice I can't seem to get it tight enough. Tom Mine Wife's (Yep its better) This is not only my first ever wrap done by myself but the cab is also my first double sided cab. Its not domed very good at all, I think its pet wood. This is my second wrap, this is what we call Saskatchewan Dolomite.

Great work on all of them!! Also, I love the cabs, especially the second one and the last one.

I dislike you jawboney. Your cabs are great and your first wire wraps look like you have been doing them for years. You are a bad person for moving "the learning curve" the wrong direction!! Bad Jawboney! Bad!
They all look great!

LOL well thanks vibra, I think you need to have another look! The first ones I was walked through, the others I used Adrians tute. And in all honesty I need lots of practice, lots lots lots. One thing I will say is that (and I respect the talent of the wrappers here) I like to see more of the rock than the wire LOL. Just me

I do not disagree. The minimalist approach is something I plan to learn as well. I will have to shape my cabs a little differently for it - and make better ones I have shaped most of my cabs with ~1/16" edge. There isn't enough for me to securely wrap like that. You may have only just started wrapping; but those wraps are nice

They actually are not that tight, I can move the cab in the wire just a bit. Is this something that you pro's get as well, or should a groove wrap always be rock solid tight (no pun intended)
