When I was working on this cab I had to grind away a considerable amount on the front and the back to remove distracting pits and other dark areas so it would look good. It ended up too thin to be a stand alone cab that could be correctly set in any kind of setting, so I backed it with a layer of Synthetic Quartz. The finished cab is only 1-1/4" tall. The picture in it looks like it was well worth the effort. Beautiful Oriental scene and beautiful job. Too delicate for me. Jim

Bobby u did it again!!! Incredible doublet and thanks so much for the side view! I am working on getting the hang of making girdles and it helps to see others!

Well done Bobby. I agree that having a side view is nice. I see you put the bottom bevel on your cabs. Not all do but I think it is important to do this as I see you do too.
