I hadn't even thought about wrapping a Montana in gold but after seeing Randy's work of art I decided to give it a try. The other part of the story is I just finished the cab and my honey fell in love with it and after seeing Randy's work she said please please please wrap that one for me in gold hahaha. So anyway, here it is - only my sixth full wrap attempt. Not my favorite wire work by far - I was tired after a long day at work and it has several major flaws but she doesn't see them and thats what counts...plus I'm not posting any of the other pictures I took that made them so obvious haha.I love the warm colors of gold against the Montana agate. OK one more photo I guess - shows off the inner beauty of the stone better...

That cab is great, and the gold really sets it off very well. Great design! Roger

Now you need to get her a gold chain to hang it from. Nice cab, agree with your wife!

Wow, that is sweet! You have really become good at wrapping in short order! You have some primo Montana agates.

Dang Tommy! You sure make it look easy. Your 6th and you're this good already? I shouldn't be surprised considering what a great cabber you became in such short order. I think it is awesome and of course, the stone is fabulous, too. Remember- we are all our own worst critics.

Thanks everyone! I think the rock is so beautiful that it's making the wrapping look good despite numerous flaws.
Thanks for the confidence booster Tela :-) I know I'm my own worst critic and I'm REALLY hard on myself - it drives my family crazy.
