Great area! Above Cooke City lies Daisy/Lulu Pass which was one of our entry points for horseback camping in the Absaroka Beartooth. Lots of lakes in that back country with super good fishing. Once, we rode/camped all the way back to the Gallatin valley through the mountains. Took 2 weeks, 145 miles.
