My slab saw holds almost 5 gals of oil and when I cut a slab it falls into the oil. I have been cutting what I want to cut that day then reach down in the mineral oil to get my slabs. Does anyone have any ideas that can keep me from having to reach in for them.

My saw has a little shelf on the drop-off side to catch the slabs. Perhaps you could fabricate something out of sheet metal to do the same thing. Bob

The old saying goes that necessity is the mother of invention, I had a friend tell me that it wasn't true- necessity is the father; desperation is the true mother of invention
