Put a sprig of mint on some of those and they'd look like mango and cantaloupe salads. Great material.

That's what bhiat Brad says Carlos. cept He calls them cobbler. Hey, you guys take bite anytime. Hope you have a dentist in the family:)
You got a cool shop Chuck. I am out in the weather but do dump my slurry and do washdowns whenever/where ever. Sometimes the belts slip on the tumbler when I do mass wash downs. The tumbling is on the dirty side. I see you son wrote up the pamphlet, cabs, tumble responsibilities- what do you do LOLoud

I really like the soft glow of these already. It will be interesting to compare that to the polished results.

Welcome to the forum Rich. No problem with polish. I checked them this morning after 18 hours they got a descent shine. I will run them 5-6 days and they should shine well. This is a hard stone and polishes well.

Thanks for the welcome. I have seen some of your other polished coral so I know that they will shine. What I meant was whether I will like the soft glow more than the mirror polish. They just seem to have an inner glow in the pre-polish stage that I find very beautiful.

I am becoming a fan off the specklediddy ones. Specklediddy? Really Scott? I like the one in the third photo, that shows the geometry of the coral polyp. Nice ones, James.

Scott, you are talking like an anglo saxon. speckled is a word from the Viking vocabulary, why don't you try that? Otherwise you will make Jean go into vocabulariashocktitus. We had a Bo Diddley from Mississippi, pioneer of rock n roll and a song writer. Bo Diddley the slang prase(meaning you know nothing about noyhing

Rich, that coral does have an effervescent texture. Some has a sugar texture. Some has strange linear frost streaks. I can't put the finger on it but it is often not a subject easily photographed. It is like wood in that it is dependent on angle sawed too.Hope you enjoy it.
