I finally got some wire thats a little better then the hobby store stuff. I wanted some silver color but while still learning I didnt want to buy real silver so I went with nickle. My only regret is I went with 20 gauge half hard square for my main wires and now I think I should have gotten dead soft. I did this copper pudding stone first and liked it the best. I think I am going to get the stuff to put a patina on this one next time I order wire. I wanted to try the nickle out and I thought it went pretty good with this blue agate. These swirls are the best I have gotten so far without any kinks in them. thanks for looking Chuck

Very nice! The swirls look really good esp for harder wire. Nickel and 20g 1/2 hard are pretty tough to work with, but it looks like you did real well with it. You are so gonna love it when you start using silver and gold! If you are doing this well now, I can imagine how well you'll do then. PS Don't forget bronze wire, too.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. I can't tell you how cool this is just to get some simple wraps on some of my cabs. Hopefully there will be no more glue on bails in my future.
