How could we ever get sick of your tumbles, Chuck? That jasper looks just like obsidian in the pictures. I really like the symmetry in that Montana agate in the lower left of the fifth picture. It looks like some sort of African tribal mask.

Rob - those dark green ones are tough to get the color to show in the photos. I messed with my settings on the camera and got this shot to at least show that they really are green not black. ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/8-16-2013%20tumble/DSC00662_zps95c1dd19.jpg) Chuck

So here's you grade. It's a 10 - 100% - A+. Maximum extra credit. No, you do not have to take the final. Does that tell you what I think of your quality of work? Where did you get your flint? I love the olive green.

Chuck, They all look great. You really got a great shine on the whole batch. Love the flint and the green jaspers came out great as well. I really like the black/ white flint piece in your last photo. It is my favorite stuff from flint ridge. I like it more than the colorful stuff.

Bill - that black and white one was one of my favorites in this batch but I don't remember seeing much of it. It has been a good learning experience and now if we ever go back we know what to look for. Right now I look everything over after a couple weeks in 60/90 and throw away any that don't interest me. I am sure we are tossing out at least 20% but that's better then continuing to pay for grit for ugly rocks - lol
Grizman - This flint is from flint ridge in Ohio. We got ours from Nethers farm which is a pay to dig site.

I really like looking at tumbled rocks. It shows beauty from every direction. I even like to hold them in my hand, but I would not like to tumble them myself. Thanks for showing us.
