My daughter's best friend's dad has joined my lapidary class and he has the spheremaking bug too. He doesn't yet have enough time to have too many rocks. I thought I should help him with that and start fulfilling his need for more rocks. @azrockgeek and beefjello and Rockhobbit and roy and catmandewe and NM Stone Supply and herchenx (**) have all been very generous with me. I thought I could pass it on. I found about 150# of stuff I like but don't need. He is bringing his daughter over for tonight's soccer match so I prepared him a few bags of stones for his new obsession. He'll take them home and (whew) I'll have less rocks. (**)if you have been generous to me and I missed your name here, please allow me this opportunity to offer my humble apology. I am deeply appreciative for each and every one of you.

Missing from the image is a cube of "hewitt cyn marble" provided by @azrockgeek. Tim, do I have that name right?
I'll see if I can get him to sign on to RTH.

If it is green and red then you have the name right.

He was at class last night and is already cutting on it. The mariposite got him fired up. Plus pre-cut cubes are always a bonus!
Mission accomplished.
I did invite him to visit this thread and hopefully join us. It seems his is not very social online, much.
