Ok don't laugh. This is my first try at wire wrapping. The stone is peitersite. The wire is 22 gauge square and 21 gauge half round copper. I had a hard time getting the bends even. I bought some new tools so hopefully next time will be better. 7

Dang! for a first try, that is really good! I will sometimes use a chop stick to push through the top loop and bend the loop evenly. Helps me or mine are always uneven. any evenly rounded, smaller than a pen item will work. Keep up the great work!

For a first wrap, you are a natural! Great job! The bail wires take practice. I use my finger to bend them. Sheri

You did a real nice job on the wrap. Tight, even coils and a beautiful stone.

The copper compliments the stone nicely.

Check out Bikerrandy's wrapping tutorial. He goes over how to get the bends even.

Great job. Love the stone, reminds me of an old painting of a sea storm.

No laughing here, that looks great. Keep at it and you will get better and better. I use a small dowel rod to try to get the bail wires even.

Good job! Lightly sand the edges of your pliers with an emery board to reduce the marks on the wire

Thanks everyone. I haven't had a chance to do anymore but I have a lot of cabs I want to wrap. Now I want to figure out how to make my own cabs.
Thanks for the tip wireholic, I will do that.
