This was a custom order I got last weekend where someone gave me a super nice chunk of pudding stone they had found and asked to get 5 natural shaped slices with cork on the back to use as coasters. This rock was pretty darn amazing inside and I still have over half left to cut for myself to cab later as payment. thanks for looking Chuck

Now that's a mighty fine way to be paid! Very nice looking stuff!

Rob - I would say this is a 1 in 500 example. I have cut a bunch and not many are ever this full of content and some might just have a bunch on one end or a band of jaspers in the middle but this one is 100 percent full.

Great looking coasters. Really like the red dots.
All our coasters are rocks that don't make the grade for cabs for one reason or another. Some are big enough to put a cookie next to the beverage.

Nice! What glue will you use for the cork? I tried to glue cork to glass tiles once with E330 and it didn't stick.

I did some coasters a while ago and used a roll of cork that was peel and stick from the craft store. It held very well but the slabs are not polished so its probably much easier than trying to stick it to glass.

Yeah, having the rough surface would help a lot I guess. Those look great, now I want to make some!
