Went out Saturday, hounding in a new gravel area I found.I'm sure finding some great pieces out of there this year!!! Right corner is all petwood, two are bigger than my fist and great colors, the upper center rock(darker color) is a huge piece of Green Jasper, the rest are agates of every sort, some huge pieces too! Its a 1/2 mile hike into the gravel bar.Its all bush, trees and water, but well worth the hike!! My fav.'s of the day from the rockhunting... First of 1 of 2 pics of same agate.. 2 of 2.......... Rock pic-1 of 2...(same agate) 2 of 2...

I'd like to do the hike with you. Smalls and weirdos are such a temptation to saw into to see what's inside. Enjoy the moment. Tom

I am waiting for the heat to back off a bit before I hit the creeks....No need to sunstroke....Finding new spots is always worth it when it produces good material...Nice finds ....John

That's some good stuff right there. I'd be all stupid running those big agates through the saw to see their innards.
