Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows anyone that can fix a 12 inch dished blade? Any chance anyone in Canada that fixes them?
Thanks
Tom

I fix mine with a hydraulic press, it takes a little trial and error but after you get the hang of it, it is easy. It works better if you can cut about a 1" tall piece of 10" pipe to use as a stand (for 12" blade) but it can be done with just a couple of steel bars also, you just have to move them around till you get it right.

Hey Tony,
Thanks a ton, and I have a 50 ton press or rather easy access to one. Might be able to come up with a 10 inch pipe as well. Although I can see square rod or tubing working with patience. I ordered a new blade and will fix or attempt to fix this one. Great Idea. Logic tells me you press a little bit past the "straight" point to account for spring back.
Great Idea, thanks

It is pretty tough to do if the blade lost tension. I don't know anything about them but have been told this company repairs blades:
Chisolm Saw & Supply 690 Hwy. 141 White Salmon, WA 509-493-3047 888-780-4040
12" may be too small to be economically feasible.

The tension is still in this blade, well I think. You are probably correct that a 12 inch is not economical to fix. Thanks for the info though
