For some reason, I've been having trouble receiving USPS FRBs this year. My latest case involves five boxes I sent to myself from Albuquerque. Four arrived together and the fifth is missing even though the tracking email said it was out for delivery last week. I haven't opened the other four as yet but I'd almost be willing to bet that my best rocks are in the one that is missing. Murphy's law and all that. I have no idea why all after the "!" is included in the Subject of this post!

Wife sent a MFRB to granddaughter and lost tracking slip. The parcel never arrived at her apt. Were surprised yesterday when the box came back marked "undeliverable", we thought it was lost forever. Kudo's to Post Office for returning it and in excellent condition.Needless to say this time she put the tracking number in a safe place. The "undeliverable" part is still a mystery but can live with that as long as it came back.

Sometimes they will not leave at an apartment. They put a slip saying come to post office. If it does not get picked up it gets returned. They are pretty good about leaving at my townhome, but every now and then on a rainy day, if nobody is home to take it in, they leave a pickup slip instead. One time the slip must have gotten stuck in some junk mail, because I did not see it. I am glad I saw the 2nd notice, or it would have gone back.

But it usually says "in transit" when this happens, and not "out for delivery" - maybe a neighbor got it.

Yuppers,my neighbor got one of my boxes once...The people here don't visit or care to know who their neighbors are.....Finally got a call from the person that had my box....( a week and a half later).. I did some chewing on the Postal Service after that too!!!! I have a small area by my computer, where I keep my Postal slips, till I know all is done... I know you can collect insurance off the package with Priority Mail, its $50.00 (Automatically),I know its not the rocks you loose, but it helps..I would call them on the insurance and collect! Sorry about your postal troubles...
