jamesp, no, I have not been over to the dark side in some time. The attraction is just no longer there. I've already told you, RTH is now my home and family. Went prospecting Saturday, Sunday was a catch-up-at-home day. Almost done waxing truck, have one last wheel to polish. I'd rather be a self confessed two-timer, than a caught-in-the-act-one, LOL! I've been logged in for an hour or so now, catching up, don't really see that I have been "missing a lot." Can you make it interesting for me, James?

fossilman, I mailed the manzano seeds off to you today. I sent enough that you have plenty for yourself and your friends. I have not had to germinate seeds yet (I was able to purchase the plant at the swap meet), but I understand they can be tricky. I ran across a blog online that had really good directions for doing so. I'll send you the link when I find it again. I was going to send you some of the ground powder, but I think someone either used it up or took it to work. I did have some that was dried, but not yet ground up. Sent you some of that. Be careful grinding it, manzanos make habaneros look like a walk in the park! Enjoy.

Did you say you were making a career out of waxing the truck? It has taken about 7000 hours:)

James, not 7000 hours, about ten days - with breaks interspersed for driving it places (and getting it dirty all over again) and when temps get into the 90s. Not supposed to apply wax when it's hot. Using polishing compound to (mostly) remove the "AZ pinstripes" and tiny black specks of overspray just about killed me! Wax on, wax off... I think my biceps have tripled in size, I can probably take anyone on in arm wrestling right now, LOL!
I could've paid someone a couple hundred bucks, but they'd use an orbital buffer on those scratches. I'd prefer to just lessen their appearance, and keep more paint on the truck. If you want it done right, you have to do it yourself. Pictures when it's done!

I picked some of my Habaneros today for my BBQ sauce and the size of them compared to what you find in the stores is amazing!!! The stores are about an inch or a bit bigger, mine are three to three and a half inches in size-WTH!!!! LOL- I pierced them for the boil with orange juice and the oils that came out of that pepper burnt my nose from two feet away!!!NOW THATS A PEPPER! Thumbs up Jean thanks for the Manzanos,I'll be careful and study up on them too.........Thumbs up my friend... My Dad taught us three boys how to garden in 1963,been at it ever since (Off and on)... People would tell Dad,"Edgar, you can't grow that!!" Dad would meet the challenge and "BOOM" it grew-LOL Dang, mouth is waterin' now! Going to smoke some chicken wings with some dry rub and Habanero BBQ sauce...Can't wait!
