Hi there, Started a lot of thing this past few weeks, but finished really nothing. Then a week ago, got a major private setback and was in no mood for stones at all. Then two days ago, Christopher's parcel arrived and it seems that I'm back in the groove. yippie24

And this one, here after 5 hours on the machine

Looks like I will get at least to pieces out of this one, including a monster-size 5+ x 4cm one.

This stone has the hardest host-material, I have ever encountered in Fire Agates. That stuff is worse than cement. Kudos to anyone who takes the trouble getting that material out of the mountains. That stuff is seriously hard. My Fordome shut down several times, just trying to cut through that stuff.

As always, Christopher send me some nice material on top of the order.

And I'm very exited about this one: Chrysocolla with a sizable rind of pure light blue (or is that turquoise color?)

Does anyone have info as to how the bright colored sections of the chrysocolla works up?

I would like to utilize the light blue for a carving. I really love that color.
