My first real rough piece to work on. I usually work from windowed pieces. Wile this piece does not have the super bright colors that many of us have gotten used to, it does have its surprises in size and thickness of actual fire area. Thats what I started with: 10 hours on the machine and that were I am right now. Now after cutting off the intended cab-area, I got a surprise at the back of the cab. Now the biggest challenge will be as to how deep to go in the lower dark area in search of proper color instead of the sagenite crumbly mess. Going blind and will need a lot of luck to get it right. In any case, even if I mess that one up, i will still get a second chance with the humongous leftover piece. Thanks Christopher, that one will be/is a wonderful challenge. Best regards, Kurt
