This reminds me of Woodstock in the 60s. I don't know why I bother tell this group that as few of you were even around then. Anyway, I have no idea what it is.

I think the point was it might need stabilizing before cabbing - not slabbing.
But, the solid areas work w/o stabilizing. This is Bulico jasper. It takes a pretty good shine.

I would agree with Daniel on the I.D. I have not had to stabilize any that I have cut it will shine up nicely as is. Nice slab. George
