The box will be mailed to Justin either tomorrow or Tuesday (after I get a LFRB). Someone needs to either take out more than they put back or put something smaller in there as we will need a 55 gallon drum the way things are going! I added Mexican Crazy Lace, Tiger Eye, Cherry Orchard, Paiute Agate, Madegascar agate, some small Georgetown tumblers, rose quartz, and some cabs and preforms. This is what I put in This is what I took out This is what I received, less that which Christopher put in and from the old box (see previous pix from him)

Was it a large box when it got to you? I bitched about that on the newbie rock box and it did no good so it is what it is. I offered to take out enough to get it back in a medium box but Helen got a bit irate with me because she wanted all the extra goodies. I can't really blame her because she put a lot of work into making it happen.
What you could do is just throw everything back in the box without any cushion and the post office people will take care of reducing in. lol JUST KIDDING. DON'T SHOOT ME. Jim

Great looking materials, but please post your pics in the original traveling box thread where all participants will be sure to see them.

Jim It was a MFRB inside a LFRB with smaller stuff stuffed in spaces. Your donation and Scotts were the two that took the most space, but they were wrapped in a manner to protect them, as is mine and the others, now. Secondary to this is the fact that not everyone will have the amount to donate that some of us have and that what they will donate will mean more to them than to others. Personally, I see nothing wrong with this. I'm a slab guy so that's primarily what I was interested in. Others will like cabs, others rough, etc., etc., etc. In terms of volume only is where I think we are heading for problems.

Guilty !! A guy my age can only use so many slabs and rough pieces. I always tend to put in much more than I take out.

If the stuff is wrapped in cardboard the large box does not get too heavy so I do not have a problem with large. Good pick. Three Wyoming slabs. Some of my best stuff. The slab on the upper right is like wonderstone and it polishes up pretty good. I am curious what others will think about it. Wonderstone/picture jasper/ Jim

I did not hog anything. The originals pieces were Don, George, Jim, Jean, Jamesp, & Mario. After trying to squeeze them alll in I think my donation was the postage!

There were three SFRBs plum full of mostly slabs, some small rough. They had your name on them. You do realize that I was yanking your chain, not complaining, don't you?

Yes sheltie, chain correctly and properly yanked. I appreciate and enjoy the good natured ribbing from everyone here. I simply do not want to take credit away from the fine folks who actually did put stuff in there! HA! Sheltie, is it moving on? I need to correct the other thread if it is.

The mailman just picked up the package about an hour ago.
While I'm at it...this may not apply to many folks but it may save someone a buck or two. In case you weren't aware, you can save about $1.55 if you use USPS online Click n Ship labels over going to the PO and sending it out there. That's for a LFRB. The other sizes will also save money online.
