I spent all day yesterday putting video into a computer, modifying it, joining youtube, and publishing thru youtube. It is best to keep it under 15 minutes for the MAC and for youtube. Longer is more involved. I made 2 videos. One for the coral reduction and one for the movie intro where it tells who is starring in it, roles, etc-too funny. This is the 15 minute video and the coral head actually weighed 10 pounds and i ended up with 6.5 pounds of to be tumbles and a 2.3 pound slabber.I want to share this amazing material's properties. And if you want a laugh, this is the intro that i did not get around to connecting it to the video. It is MAC software.

That glassy blue color is/was killer looking. That would of been a nice specimen as is. I need one of them glassy blue specimens in my life.
You sound like from dow sowth.

James, you do know that for the movie trailers you're supposed to replace the placeholders with actual video, right?
Here's my composting action video done with the same iMovie trailer:

Nice job of the video; however, my hands hurt just watching it. I've split many a shale looking for fossils only to have the shale split in the wrong area and slice my hand.

I thought it was very well done, even if we didn't get to see James mash his hand with the hammer, LOL! The coral did look really blue in the video, and also very sharp. Watching it (actually, listening to it) answered a question I had been pondering. I think he meant business, but never did break out the BMFH!

Kinda made me think of using a chain saw to shape a curly walnut gun stock. That blue coral is quite nice looking. Most efficient technique, I must say.

I'll PM you the question. And it's a BMFH, not BFMH. Big mother f**king hammer. At one point in your video, you said you'd get one, but never did.

I like soft steel hammers. The ball side sends fractures Frankie. Soft brass and copper is great too. Knappers like to use copper for knaping for the same reason.
But hard hammers and ball end sends fractures out. So does a chisel hammer.
I remember the big hammer discussion now. I knew that was familiar. LOL. How could i forget, Jean.

I knew instantly that that coral was a glass one when i knocked a chip off it in the river. It has a thick aquatic moss growing on it so i could not tell too much about the color w/that one little chip. Not till i started breaking it down on that video did i know that it was about the bluest coral i ever found. At least not that big a piece. Some of the coral is way tough. Especially from the Suwanee River. The Georgia coral is the glassiest by far. You guys like to keep your findings whole? And just tumble the small findings?
