Finally got a chance to go out and enjoy the awesome Az weather, so Rodney(LoneTreeStudios) and I went to the 4th July Butte area to go scouting. After a short hike in from the main trail we stumbled on a hill side full of small agate nodules, I gave one a kick and realized it was a bit larger then what we had been finding. Looks like a limb cast, never heard of them in this area. Top Side. Bottom Side. Slabbed the top to get a better view, it has purple tints in the fortification, but the light drowned it out. Hopefully I can get this side polished up next weekend. Thanks for looking, Tim

That is fine. No telling what is in the ground out there.

That is a nice find. I would polish the cut end & keep it as a specimen.

That is fine. No telling what is in the ground out there. Yes, that is indeed true. And there are no major geologic boundaries between the Cady Mtns and 4th of July Butte. No telling what ya might find in the Cady's!
