I assume it to be chryscholla and its filled heavily with pyrite. It’s a heavy 4lb chunk with a quartz vein. I'm really look forward to slicing off a slab & cab
Does any one know if pyrite and chrycholla is a common mix? Thanks Ed

forrest: I am starting out new rock hounder in the West Central Mountains of Idaho. I have neighbors that are semi-serious about finding usable gems and gold. The claim is 60ac. I have never polished, cut, or treated a gemstone. Found a few in some tailing piles.
