Modern day Seminole cleaning a swamp Ibis. Blue Heron is on their menu too. Many protected species are fair game for the Seminoles. Billie Swamp has a lot of primitive practices to this day. John Laroche 'used' Seminoles to exploit natural resources. He went to prison along w/three Seminoles. A book,'The Orchid Thief' was written about the fiasco by a New York author. After reading her book i think she fell in love w/Laroche. He was of questionable character in many ways. Great read, the movie was pitiful.
