I clicked on your banner a while back Pat and was wowed. You are an artist extraordinaire for sure.
The thing that surprised me was your age (well, approximate age) For some reason I had you pictured way younger than me but then you posted in the marble thread that you were playing marbles in the forties. Uh, what happened, you aged awfully quick there. I am happy for you that you got to spend a lot more years in middle age. lol Jim

Pat, I have clicked on your banner before and for some reason did not connect it to you. You have so much professional looking stuff I thought I had clicked on a banner for proboards or something. Totally pro! Loving the spiral chainmail bracelet! Do you facet? Drummond Island Rocks - wow, some very nice stuff Chuck. I hope you guys are making some dough. Anybody else?

@shotgunner, no, I don't facet. The chains are fun to make, and I can carry on a conversation at the same time. Thanks

I've been on Etsy since 2007, one of the original cabochon only shops. Now, there are so many shops selling cabs it seems the market is saturated. I still sell my cabs, but not the way I used to, and with Etsy's new policy, I may bail out to another handmade site.

New policy is essentially "hand made in spirit"; opening the door to mass produced goods from overseas.

Lots of folks are talking about tibbet but looking at the sales stats of some of the artists over there, I think I'll stick with etsy and see how it goes.

I have had an Etsy shop for five years, selling cabs for the last three. For sure I don't sell as many as I did three years ago. My shop is here- www.etsy.com/shop/GeoffreysCabochons
