Im so glad I found a forum! I am a beginner and starting to look for a vibrating tumbler. My wife and I finally have a hobby we can share. I will provide the rocks and she will make jewelry.

Greetings and felicitations from SoCal. Careful, rocks can be addictive.

Welcome, John! I'm originally from Ames. You're not too far from coral (around Coralville, go figure) and Keokuk for geodes.

I completed my first tumble and had some great results and some disappointments. The amethyst is mediocre and scuffed. The jasper and aventurine turned out very nice. Will probably run the amethysts again. Just got some Mexican lace, green tree and turitella.
