Very nice, James. It's really got some depth to it. 100+ lbs? That's a bit much to be hossin' around. Bookends? Slabs?

12 pound sledge hammer spoke to it Jean. It was down in the river so i rolled it up the bank to perform surgery. That was about a 25 pound part. i will get the rest of it if i think it has value.

Rich and bsky , you guys are easy to entertain It is a shame i can not bring much back percentage wise. It is a bit like saying-oh there is a heavy treasure on top of the mountain but you can only bring a small percentage back due to transport limitations. The science of this hobby is valuable in the interest provided. Crazy creations made by nature....

So, do you want me to make a trip with you so you can fill up my pickup? It could happen you know. Especially if your wife knows any single women that like old dudes with more hair on their ears than on the top of their head. Jim

No problem. Let's just call it renewed puberty manifested in a new location. I am not sure about the renewed functionality but you seem to be a creative fellow. Come on down to the south. We got all kinds of interesting folks down here. I am experiencing similar levels of maturity. I am thinking we could try to start a new fad or following.

Never thought I'd enjoy looking at a rock as full of holes as that cut oyster, it's great. Larry

I throw those oysters in the tumbler with no grit and normal water and tumble that coating off Larry. It is abusive and loud. And very abrasive on the tumbler barrel. But the abrasive coating protects the silicified part from fractures.

When you say depth do you mean that it is somewhat clear and you can see into it Jean ? Yes, James, that's part of it. Depth - three dimensional instead of two. Much more interesting to look at, it has intricate shapes that you can immerse yourself into. Like looking into a galaxy of corallites.
