I don't know where folks buy their burrs and such but E-Bay member Jadecarver, has a good selection of burrs and special wheels. I just bought a 1/4 wide , 6 in. diameter convex wheel for setting up the outer edge of my preforms before knapping them. I noticed a lot of burrs for carving he had in stock.

Seems like he/she has a great selection, let us know how the quality of your disk is after you use it a bit.
Thanks

I have plated wheels from JadeCarver that were supposedly 2nd's when I purchased them, and they have been in use for many more hours than I ever could have expected for the price. I highly recomend them.

So how well have the plated wheels held up? Im interested in getting a set of the 6" x 1" convex carving wheels from him, but im wary of the electroplated faces. The galaxy wheels are only slightly more expensive www.lapidarymachines.com/carving_wheels.shtml . Anyone have any experience with the galaxy wheels?
