I have a chain which is brand new, never used. When I bought it(Oct2008), it was labeled : Oregon 20-PF-56. I took a chance it would fit my POULAN 16 inch saw, but no luck...This appears to be for a 13 inch(or 12 or 14) inch saw, see picture below I'm not sure what brand saw it's for: If anyone recognizes it and wants it, let me know It's free Charlie Not sure of the exact way of measuring a chain but the chain links are 3.8 mm wide (without rivets) 4.5 mmm with rivets about 5.2 mm high Each link is about 12mm apart The cutting elements are about 4mm across and 5 if you count the chain

If you look at the drivers (the ones pointing in that fit in the bar) there should be a number (probably 72) that tells the guage of the chain. With that and the length (determined by counting the number of drivers (probably 56 on yours) someone can determine if it will work for them.

I just bought a 14" poulan saw, could use another blade if I knew it fit.

This chain is really small...Looks too small for a 14 inch poulan but maybe
You can see from the picture that it is about 13 or 13 and a half inches long ...maybe that's what a 14 inch chain looks like Measure yours and you will have a better idea I'm guessing it is for an electric or maybe one of those pole saws
No writing on the drivers on this one

That would be for a 12" bar more than likely. Maybe one of the small pole saws. Rock on! Jason
