Hi Everyone! Well, my hands have had a little break and my daughter has volunteered to help take pictures. I am starting a new med this week which I am supposed to self inject, but DH (dear husband) will be tasked with that chore or it will never get done. LOL! I did these over the last few weeks-- The ever awesome Deschutes Azurite malachite and chrysocolla- some of the malachite is chatoyant and looks funny in the picture. Bloodstone in which the blood refuses to photograph- I gave up. Willow Creek Jasper Mookaite- a friend has already grabbed this one! Small orby variscite Amazonite and citrine Sparkly Ice Pale Mint Ice Green Muscovite with diamond cut sterling wire. This sparkles like crazy and is beautiful in person. Large Larvakite aka Norwegian Moonstone- very flashy Red Jasper with Hematite groove wrap Thanks for looking. I'm looking forward to being able to do more soon. And I haven't cabbed in forever.

They're all gorgeous but I especially like the mookite - it looks like a bonsai tree

That Mookaite is a perfect wrap on a killer cab. I am intrigued by the amazonite wrap. There's hardly any wire over the stone.

Tela, I don't think you are human. But I am sure glad to see that your hands are working for you again. With bad hands you kick but on every wrap that I spend hours doing WITH GOOD HANDS. The evenness is famonamal. I am going to book mark this page so I can go back to it when my head swells a bit and to get some pointers.
And thanks to your daughter for helping so we can admire. Jim

Those are all beautiful Tela! I think I like the dendritic mookaite the best - very unique and beautiful stone and wrap.

Great craftsmanship, I really like the composition of each. I am with the masses on this one, the Mookaite really grabbed my eye.

Thanks again, y'all Jim, when you are wrapping, just remember that you are forming the wire to fit your stone. If you do that, all your wraps will be close fitted.

hahaha I get them close fitted because I do most of the wrapping on the stone. If you do all but the last of the wrap off the stone I am positive you are magic. Jim

I thought everyone did it that way. Seriously, I do almost all my forming off the stone. Then I just fit it around and join the top wires. Try it, it's easier, I think.

Ok, I will try it but do not expect results like yours even if we live another fifty years.
