Lots of people ask about what to do w/allthose rocks. Here's one of our solutions, indoor fountains, this one in a 16" plastic tub. Best suited in a dedicated table for appearance sake. Table top ones are made of wood, sealed with resin on inside. We start with 3 legs of mortar cast in waxed toilet paper rolls, 1/2" square, 3/8 thick plastic grid normally used for light diffusion on the legs, then plastic window screen, with the fountain creation on top. Fun thing with building these, let the imagination go anywhere. Big rock in this one is pet. wood, had a hole top & bottom when we found it, but it wasn't the same hole. It took about 5 hrs. with 80 grit and a copper tube in the drill press to get the hole thru.

Shotgunner, Copper is initially soft enough to imbed grit pretty well, and work hardens with use. Stainless is quite tough, isn't really very hard, and won't imbed as well. Copper is much cheaper, and I had it at home.

Let your mind go wild. That is cool. I like the use of semi precious. Show them rascals off.
It is great Larry.

This one isn't a waterfall or splashy thing, we like the shape of the rock. Made some using a very light weight fake rock [looks good, and really cheap in small pieces]. Easy to work into desired shape and drill, made waterfall ones out of it. We really enjoy building these things, do it inside when the weather is real sour. JP, you could compete w/Old Faithful in one of those big tubs you put together. Larry
