Yes! That's right! I got to wrap one of the purple labradorite cabochons I bought last month!!!! Okay, can't remember if I actually posted what I got so here's a custom works add I made for another site so you can see what I got last month, I spent a very pretty penny and splurged huge on ordering purple labradorite cabs in bulk which I have never bought in bulk before but it really paid off!!! So I got all of these: Top left, center left and bottom right are all spoken for. So I actually got to wrap one of them! I was so excited The customer wanted something extremely dramatic, how do you think I did? I haven't heard from the client and it's been almost 24 hours so I'm getting nervous -Krista Piece #288 "A Charismatic Soul" Purple/Multicolored Labradorite wrapped in round, square and twisted Gold Filled wire.

Very nice, Krista! Love purple specs and labs. You are braver than me... I can't bear to sell my purple labradorites.

Thank you everyone! The customer did wind up liking it! It took him over two days to get back to me but he does like it!!! Karen, purple and magenta are some of the rarer colors in labradorite and technically this is probably classified as spectrolite, but since all spec is lab I feel safe using the broader term since I don't know what region it came from and it was sold as lab. Tela, I KNOW!!! When I bought these I was so trying to figure out how to keep them all! But John told me I could keep one and everything else I had to at least put out there for customers to see lol I've chosen to keep the bottom right one, pin striped but full purple flash with each stripe and just a couple speckles of blue in the center, it's so gorgeous in person. The ALL are gorgeous!!! Thank you again everyone for the compliments!! Krista

Wow those are gorgeous. I'm glad your customer was pleased. That wrap does fit the bill for dramatic especially with the wires all swept over to one side. That gold filled sure sets off the cab too. WTG

I love that wrap. Just beautiful. My favorite cab is the center one, but they are all gorgeous. I too, did not know that laboradite came in different colors. I definately would like to get my hands on some rough or a slab and make my own cabs. If anyone knows where i can get some let me know please.
