Thanks, all! Took a couple more shots to try to get truer color. Kurt, I thought about you when I found this. it will have to remain a specimen unless it were to be graced by the hand of a carver. It reminds me of Milt & Roe which is appropriate as I was fishing for spawning Brown trout when I found it. 300W Halogen shop lite

I can just about match you rock for rock because of the glaciers but there is no way in hell I am going to match that one. Awesome find. Jim

Can't see an image for now besides some sorts of Alien face. But in any case I think if anything at all, the botroidal and milky part should be left untouched, and only the upper rough part worked into some sorts of scene. In the first picture it looks like, its just the right size to end up for a single pendant or center-bead.
