Hi all this is my second official finished tumble from the UV10, images are in no real logical order although I will try to do so. This is the first time I tried tumbling cabs only taken to the 280 stage on the Cab King, I am very pleased other than some disappeared, ? go figure. I even got some rocks that turned out with that liquid shine. I have to than all the members for their super tips on tumbling. I have finished a couple other batches totally in a rotary and was not very happy, the vibe is da bomb! IMHO. I have seen some of your results with straight rotary and they are just WOW!!!! One of the major reasons if not the MAJOR reason this batch is IMO a ton better than the last is that the quality of rock going from the rotary stage to the vibe was way better. Less flaws, cracks, chips etc. Kind of following Jugglerguy's way, garbage in=garbage out. Images taken with a nikon D80 under 4300K (mostly) compact flouresent lamps on auto setting with shaky hands. No special techniques used. comments and crit's most welcome. Thanks. As you can see the UV10 holds lots of rocks: On wife's sewing table, had to get this done fast before I got caught:) The amount of small and tiny rocks in the polish batch: 1 Lb of ceramic pellets, I need more right?? Tumble images: The Cabs: First ever heart: Any one know what the white one is, its hard: Just some of my fav's, at the very bottom would be a perfect clear quartz, I never took a close up but really cool:

nice batch - love the heart & the shield shape. That blue flash over to the right kept catching my eye but couldn't tell what it is

Great batch, you really pulled out a great shine on those. You would only need more ceramics to increase the volume if you don't have enough small stones.

You got it going on now dude. The white might be orthoclase. The piece I have polished up really good. Jim
