My doctor confiscated my tablesaw and told me to work smaller and safer. Since I volunteer at a local elementary school, I am doing rocks now to help broaden the science curriculum materials. I will be having lots of questions which pertain mostly to equipment. I have joined our local rock and mineral society but my bad legs keep me from the field trips. More to come. Next week I have a session with a local obsidian knapper- half Cherokee by heritage and very skilled.

Too bad about that table saw, You could have built one of these: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/62926/rock-schoolSome info I've posted here: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/62933/identifying-rocks
